The studio calico December kit is super duper gorgeous (it always is, but seriously its amazing!!! I’m only sad I didn’t have more time to work with it:) Maybe after Thanksgiving I’ll have more time!!! They have the sneak peek of the kit up, and it will be available for purchase at MIDNIGHT eastern on the 27th. They always sell out, so get there early to grab a kit or add on!

So I’m really really ready to leave tomorrow. I have to finish my dad’s book tonight…nothing like waiting till the last minute….everyone is packed and ready to go but daddy, and he’s responsible for his own stuff, so I’m not worried:) I have done every single bit of laundry in our house but what is on our backs….that is a FEAT BEYOND THE IMAGINATION here. It is literally usually waist high in an 8×8 room…not figuratively, LITERALLY. So to have it done and ready when we get back just feels wonderful to me!!!
We have to get up in the morning and just ready the house for leaving….turning off water and water heater, etc. I got a great list by googling “snowbirds house check list” that gave us all the suggestions (two pages worth) from snowbirds around the country:) AWESOME! They do all sorts of things I wont do like adding oil to the bottom of our dish washer, and crushing ice and amonia in the garbage disposal…but its a completely thorough list.
Jon just bought the kids a DVD player and a couple new DVD’s so I think we are golden for our 5 hour trip tomorrow. I’ve horded a few magazines and The Dares Book, Ali’s new book and Nic Howards new book! So I have plenty to do too:) I’m ready…now I just need to take the big nap, and drive to the airport at 10:45 tomorrow! ACK!!! Pray for me!!!
