From a random iTunes shuffle (entire library)…
Since I don’t do iTunes this is a bust for me, sawdy guys
What is the total amount of music files on your computer(s)?
Aparently Jon has 3167 on his Ibook, but me, hmmm, I’m more of an NPR girl:)
The last CD you bought is:
Fruit of the Spirit and Great Big God; two kids CD’s from our church.
What is the song you last listened to before this message?
Sunday afternoon I listened to a mixtape from the DJ Legends Tour that Jon went to on Saturday night. Today I listened to NPR in the car.

another Jaylie moment
brought to you by pea brains annonymous!
“Mom, I figured out something”
“what did you figure out”
“Look over here”
“okay what did you figure out”
“I figured out if you hold the baby upside down like this, she cries”
“How about you never hold her upside down then”
hmmmmmmmmmm, kids and their pea sized brains!
why?
why do babies think its a good idea to sleep all day and not in the night:)
Journey doesn’t cry all night, but she doesn’t sleep all night either. I’m finally starting to feel the pain. I feel bad because Jon has to get up at 6 to go to work, so [...]
3 year old boy
My baby boy is three. We had a rip roaring time yesterday at Chuck E. Cheese’s. We had 10 kids and 6 adults there on a Sunday afternoon. It was CRAZY. Thank God we got three booths in the toddler section of the restaurant. It was away from the hot [...]
Tsunami
Tsunami Pictures
I didn’t really fully grasp the utter destruction of this area until I looked at these before and after pictures. It took me several hours to look at all of these pictures, b/c emotionally these were pretty draining. They are just overhead photos of the land from a helicopter or satelite, but [...]
bad blogger
I’m a bad blogger, I’m not very interesting. I need to just make this into a photo only site:) I’m better at taking pictures. In general I have a pretty boring life, not much exciting happens to me. I’ll just talk about my kids, and put up pictures of them and [...]
National Letter Writing Week
Ahhhh, a holiday week I can relate too.
There is NOTHING better than a blank sheet of stationary or a blank card. I love the smell of a bic pen and the way it feels to write with it. I can write a letter so much faster on a computer or just shooting off [...]
National Joy Germ Day
Who if your name is Joy can resist National Joy Germ Day?
What could this possibly mean? I don’t even know how to blog about it:) There is just no telling what this holiday could be about. I don’t have germs, well I guess I do, but no deadly ones. Could they [...]
South Bend House
We are in the middle of trying to sell our house in South Bend. We also made some dunce moves which caused some issues that we are trying to work out with insurance. We are so far away and the house slips my mind all the time, and then comes crashing back in [...]
National Get Organized Month
There wasn’t a good holiday for today so we are talking about a “month.”
It makes sense that this would be National Get Organized Month…..since after Christmas we start to think about cleaning up the Christmas stuff and getting the house clean and ready for Spring, etc. etc.
I am so much happier with how easy [...]
What kind of things do you remember being traumatic at the time, but laughed about in the future?
I was cleaning out my new baby’s room a week or so ago, right before she was born, and I was trying to pare down some things that were going in a “memory box” I went through [...]
random holidays
I’ve decided to blog about random “weird” holidays this year…..we’ll see how far I’ll get before I get bored with it.
