for the Chicken and the Chicken Farmer to make their appearance.
We don’t “do” halloween, but since its the only time on the year that you can find costumes, and I love dressing up, we find a harvest party to go to, and try to do a theme. Jaylie and Jaden have been [...]

Is driving me absolutely insane! I know, I know, its not that far of a trip for me, but seriously, my last nerve is fraying….imagine on a cartoon where the rope holding Wil E. Coyote over the chasm is breaking strand by strand….that’s my nerves when it comes to my daughter.

a dog’s life

24Oct04

dog? cat? either one it doesn’t matter….
I have a love/hate relationship with pets. I would really like one, but the concept of being responsible for ANOTHER sentient being is just not my idea of a good time right now.
They are so cuddly, but I’d have to clean up their poop
They are so cute, [...]

being famous

19Oct04

do we like someone just because they are famous, or do people become famous because we like them. I’m thinking about scrapbooking “celebrities” right now in particular, but it really does go for a lot of different types of celebrities. I’m looking through these old layouts of this girl who is now “famous” [...]

finding friends

17Oct04

it is pretty amazing to me how resiliant kids are. how can they come to a new place and just make friends. it can be for an hour or for a year at school, or whatever. we go to mcdonalds and they find these friends that they run and scream and play [...]

Trading Spaces

16Oct04

I love the show.
BUT, I think that the whole “choose the new designer” thing was fully fully rigged. The guy Jon who won was on the show for like 8 episodes for the whole “pay off your mortgage” thing, and so America litterally got to know him for quite while during that [...]

A Bad Movie

15Oct04

I am a movie lover. I watch movies that I know I’m going to like, usually. I like a lot of artsy movies, and foreign films. I love movies with sub-titles. I love Indian films and freaky art films, but I mostly like movies with good endings. A happy ending [...]

Amazing Story

11Oct04

Laura Hatch was found alive after crashing her car down an embankment 8 days earlier. The woman who found her had a vision from God about where she was trapped. I find this whole story AWESOME and miraculous. God is so GOOD and this is one story that proves it to the [...]

click here for my newest pages
there are a bunch that I haven’t scanned in that I had finished before we left South Bend, but the first four at beats.com are my newest ones that I’ve done since I’ve been here.

what a team!

10Oct04

Jaylie loves to pose for pictures and is always smiling at everyone…..Jaden on the other hand is dead serious almost all the time. He is friendly and talks to a lot of people and gives hugs to perfect strangers, but he doesn’t smile that often….how weird huh?

lonely

07Oct04

I’m a little lonely right now. Jon is gone, the kids are in bed, and my hormones are acting up.
I trust that God knows what he is doing, but I wish he’d clue me in. I just don’t know anyone and I don’t have anyone to talk to. I’m checking [...]
